Terms of Service

  1. The service. Nautankee generates a theatre score — cues, music, and supporting documents — from a script you provide, delivered according to the bundle you purchase (Essentials, Production, or Premium).
  2. Generative output and refunds. Nautankee's output is generative and varies between runs. Each paid production includes three full runs; failed runs don't count against this allowance. Because of this variability, we don't offer refunds for change of mind. Your statutory consumer rights aren't affected by this policy.
  3. Music licence. The output tracks are licensed to you by us. This licence is non-transferable. Each set of cues we generate for you is its own, independent output — if another production requests music for the same play, they receive an entirely different set of tracks, generated separately for them. A separate buy-out licence is not offered at this time.
  4. Songs. Where your script contains diegetic songs, these aren't part of a Nautankee bundle. We identify them for you internally but don't share prompts, drafts, or any song-generation detail as part of your delivery. If you'd like us to produce these songs, contact us — we'll quote and deliver them separately, as a custom Songumentary engagement.
  5. Your script. Your script is shared only with us — never with any other party. By submitting it, you confirm you hold the rights necessary for us to use it in producing your outputs. We use your script to produce your own outputs, and may access it to diagnose problems and improve the service. Your script is never used to train any model.
  6. Showcase. Participation in the Nautankee showcase is opt-in. You may consent to showcase inclusion at signup or at any later point, including as part of a launch offer.
  7. Languages. English, Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi are tested and supported today. Our process and technology support other languages too — for your first production in a new language, we'd like to hand-hold it personally, so contact us first.
  8. Credit. Delivered work carries the credit "Nautankee by Songumentary®".
  9. Payments. All purchases are processed by Stripe, acting as merchant of record. Stripe issues your invoice and receipt.
